The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers more than 50 scholarships annually to reduce financial barriers and empower dedicated students pursuing occupational therapy education. Since 1965, we've awarded over 1,200 scholarships, investing in passionate individuals who will advance evidence-based practice and improve lives worldwide.
Program Overview
Our comprehensive scholarship program serves students at many levels of occupational therapy education. With a single application, you're automatically considered for all scholarships you qualify for, maximizing your funding opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an AOTA-accredited or developing professional-level (master's or OTD) or an occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program. Additional criteria may vary; please see individual scholarships below for more details.
Award Amounts
Scholarships range from $150 to $5,000, providing meaningful support so students can focus on their studies rather than financial concerns.
