Kristin Bukovsky

Director of Communications and Marketing

Kristin Bukovsky

Kristin joined AOTF in the fall of 2019. As Director of Communications & Marketing, she promotes the AOTF mission by developing effective, high-impact, and cost-efficient outreach with consistent branding to various stakeholders using appropriate channels.

Prior to joining the Foundation, she was Director of Marketing at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) for five years, Communications Specialist at the Anacostia Watershed Society (AWS), and Account Manager at Nemetschek Vectorworks Inc., a computer-aided design software company. 

She earned her BS in Corporate Communications at the University of Baltimore. She also holds an Associate's in Computer-Aided Design.

Ana Levcovitz

Executive Assistant

Ana Levcovitz

Ana Levcovitz joined AOTF in 2025 as the Executive Assistant. Ana provides administrative support to the Executive Office and serves as the primary point of contact for the Board of Trustees, as well as for strategic planning activities and several standing committees. Ana also supports the Foundation’s Awards & Recognition Program, volunteer development and nominations processes, and assists with the coordination of the Planning Grant Collective, Engage Summit Conference, and Annual Conference.

Before joining AOTF, Ana held administrative and program coordination roles at the Urologic Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute and the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington. She has experience in nonprofit, educational, and federal settings, where she focused on improving operational systems, supporting leadership teams, and fostering mission-driven collaborations.

Ana earned her bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park. Outside of work, Ana enjoys making art, cooking plant-based meals, and spending time with her family and community in Rockville, Maryland.

Sandy Weiss

Office Assistant

Sandy Weiss

Sandy Weiss joined AOTF as a part-time Office Assistant in December 2019. Sandy primarily provides program support for the Pi Theta Epsilon honor society and assists with processing donations.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Sandy worked as a Senior Administrative Assistant and Conference Planning Assistant for the National Association of Community Health Centers. Most recently, Sandy worked for several years as an Office Manager in two local preschools and is currently an Assistant Teacher in creative enrichment classes in public elementary schools.

Sandy and her husband grew up in New Jersey. They have two grown children and live in Maryland.
