Jeanne Cooper

Jeanne Cooper

Jeanne Cooper serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Foundation and is responsible for overall Foundation operations. 

Jeanne joined the Foundation in July 2008 as executive assistant to the Executive Director and became manager, executive office in May 2016.

Prior to joining AOTF, Jeanne was the director of chapter relations at a trade association and has worked with other associations and foundations in professional advancement, chapter relations, membership, and certification.

Jeanne majored in psychology at the George Washington University.

Sylvia Casaro Dietert, BS

Grants Administrator

Sylvia Casaro Dietert, BS

Sylvia Casaro Dietert assumed the role of Grants Administrator at the AOTF in December 2022.

She joins the Foundation after a long time career in workforce development, human services and volunteering in the Washington DC area. In her previous role she was the Director, Industry Initiatives at Employ Prince George’s. Prior to that, she led private, state and federal workforce development training and technical assistance grants and contracts as the Community Services Agency of the Metropolitan Washington Council, AFLCIO (CSA of the MWC, AFLCIO). She also served as a grant reviewer for Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) with expertise in minority access to language and culturally competent health and human services and the creation of career pathways for minorities in health professions.
 
Sylvia has a Bachelor in Theology and Philosophy and a Master in Social Work, Policy, Planning and Administration from The Catholic University of America. Sylvia lives in Montgomery County, MD and loves outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and skiing.

Satvika Garg, PhD, OTR/L

Satvika Garg, PhD, OTR/L

Dr. Satvika Garg started as the Scientific Programs Officer at the AOTF in October, 2021.  Prior to joining the AOTF, she served as an Occupational Therapist/Research Collaborator at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC from 2015-2021 and as an Adjunct Faculty/ Researcher/ Teaching Assistant at New York University, NY from 2009-2014. Dr. Garg obtained her PhD in occupational therapy from New York University (NYU), NY under the mentorship of Dr. Kristie Patten and received her MS in OT from Tufts University, MA. During her PhD, she received NYU Doctoral Fellowship, NYCT Fahs Beck Fund for Research and Experimentation Doctoral Dissertation Grant & NYU Steinhardt Doctoral Travel Awards. 

Lawrence Liff, MA

Chief Development Officer

Lawrence Liff, MA

Lawrence Liff joined the AOTF in October 2017 as Chief Development Officer. In this role, Lawrence promotes the philanthropic priorities of the Foundation, engages people, companies, and organizations that wish to support the AOTF mission, stewards donors, and manages the AOTF Development Council. 

Prior to coming to AOTF, Lawrence worked at the University of Maryland, College Park. From 2012-2017 he was the Director of Development at the College of Information Studies and from 2004-2012 he was the Associate Director of Development for the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences. 

Lawrence earned his BA in American History and Political Science in 2001 from the University of Maryland and earned his Master of Public Policy in 2010. 

David Robertson, MA

Member and Program Coordinator

David Robertson, MA

David Robertson joined the Foundation in July 2017 and in May 2019 he was promoted to Member and Program Coordinator as the national coordinator for the St. Catherine Challenge and Pi Theta Epsilon.

He joins the Foundation having previously worked in the educational sector as a program coordinator with Learn It Systems. Prior to that, he worked for several years as the Assistant Director, Family Relations and Special Events at the Washington International School in D.C. 

David has a BS and Master's of Education from Springfield College where he was the grad assistant to the Sports Information Director before working in the sports industry.  David lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, son, and Labrador, Luna.
