PTE Calendar

The following events occur on an annual basis as directed by the National Office. Individual chapters are encouraged to host additional events in alignment with the PTE mission for their current and alumni members.

February-March Requests for nominations to run for PTE National Office are sent to chapters and alumni members. PTE President and Secretary elections are held on odd calendar years, while PTE Vice President and Treasurer are held on even calendar years. A nomination form must be completed to be included as a candidate. If you are an active PTE student or alumni interested in in joining the National Office, request additional information at
March-April SAVE THE DATE!  AOTA Annual Conference in Philadelphia is March 30-April 2, 2017.
Annual Pi Theta Epsilon Alumni Reception and Faculty Advisor's Workshop will be held at the AOTA Annual Conference on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

Call for papers to participate in PTE Poster Session during the AOTA/NBCOT National Student Conclave, November 18-19, 2016 in Dearborn, Michigan.The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration is September 16, 2016
October Deadline for the Mary J. Bridle First Research Award and the President's Award is October 1, 2016.

Deadline for all AOTF scholarships (including the Martha J. Kirkland PTE Endowed Scholarship) is October 27, 2016

November SAVE THE DATE!  The AOTA/NBCOT National Student Conclave is on November 18-19, 2016 in Dearborn, Michigan.
PTE holds its Annual Business Meeting at the Student Conclave, as well as a PTE poster session (deadline September 16, 2016) and a PTE Special Presentation.

Chapters are encouraged to have a delegate present to vote on amendments and learn about current and ongoing PTE initiatives. Chapters may send a Resolution Form to the National Office with topics they would like to be considered for voting during the annual business meeting. Students may also join the Nominations Committee and Minutes-Review Committee at the Business Meeting.
