My journey in occupational therapy began at Waynesburg University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. From there, I continued on to Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania to pursue my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
At SRU, I was inducted into the inaugural cohort of Pi Theta Epsilon during my second didactic year. I was honored to serve as secretary for two years, where I helped lead journal clubs and worked alongside my peers to foster new ideas in leadership and scholarship for future cohorts.
I am now practicing at Therapy Services LLC in Morgantown, WV, where I’m proud to be part of a team that offers compassionate, individualized care to patients of all ages through evidence-based occupational therapy. I work with a diverse caseload—from pediatric clients with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and sensory integration challenges, to older clients navigating neurological disorders.
Having recently passed my boards and begun my career, I’m eager to explore new areas of specialization and continue contributing to occupational therapy research. PTE’s emphasis on leadership, evidence-based practice, and professional growth continues to inspire me every day as I collaborate with colleagues and serve my community.
