Celebrate Lives, Milestones, and Legacies

A gift to the American Occupational Therapy Foundation is a meaningful way to celebrate or honor loved ones, mark special occasions, or commemorate important milestones. Your donation supports scholarships, research and publications, leadership development and recognition, and education to advance the profession.

Gifts in Honor Of

Honor someone who has made a lasting impact in your life — a mentor, colleague, family member, or friend — with a gift in their name. These gifts are a great fit for meaningful occasions, such as:

  • Graduations
  • Mother’s Day or Father’s Day
  • Weddings or anniversaries
  • Birthdays
  • Professional achievements
  • Retirements
  • Other important milestones

How it Works

When you make a gift in honor of a special person, AOTF staff will send a letter to that individual letting them know you made a gift to the Foundation in their honor.

Important: Please include the honoree’s name and mailing address in the comment box when making your donation so AOTF can notify them of your thoughtful gift.

Gifts in Memory Of

Memorial gifts commemorate the life and legacy of someone who is no longer with us. These meaningful tributes provide lasting support for occupational therapy while honoring a loved one’s memory.

How it Works

When you make a memorial gift to AOTF, we will send a letter to the deceased person’s family to inform them of your kind and thoughtful gift.

Important: Please include the name of the person you are memorializing in the comment box. Also include the names and mailing addresses of any family members you would like AOTF to notify about this gift.
