Emily Felipe, MS, OTR/L
Emily Felipe joined AOTF in May 2023 as the Scientific & Research Programs Coordinator. She assists in developing, administering, and reporting on the organization’s scientific, research, grant, and educational programs and initiatives. She also provides administrative support and advice to program staff, grant reviewers, and grant applicants and awardees.
Before joining AOTF, Emily worked across diverse settings and communities as an occupational therapist in school-based and outpatient pediatric settings, providing both in-person and teletherapy services. During her graduate studies, she implemented occupational therapy health promotion initiatives in the Baltimore, Maryland area by creating stroke survivor support groups for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily earned her Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from Towson University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
