Nedra Gillette has been a driving force in advancing awareness of the importance of practice based on evidence generated from research in occupational therapy. The Nedra Gillette Endowed Research Fellowship in Occupational Therapy has been created to support the research of students pursuing advanced degrees at an accredited educational institution in the United States or for the partial support of projects undertaken by occupational therapists appointed as post-doctoral research fellows at recognized research instititutions.
