Mr. Alfred (Chip) Chiplin earned his BA from Tougaloo College, his JD from the George Washington University, his Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and his Masters of Divinity from Harvard University.  He is currently the Managing Attorney and Senior Policy Attorney for the Center for Medicare Advocacy, Inc. in Washington, DC.  Mr. Chiplin provides  guidance and assistance in coverage and appeals for beneficiaries, writing, training, and technical support for health care advocates.  He also supports home and community-based services integration and provides legal expertise for The Older Americans Act.

 

Mr. Chiplin has been an attorney for a variety of organizations including Pro Seniors, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the National Senior Citizens Law Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  He resides in Washington, DC.
