Aaron Eakman,

Dr. Eakman received his BS in Psychology at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, his MS in Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan and his PhD in Occupational Science at the University of Southern California in 2007 in Los Angeles, California.

 

Currently, Dr. Eakman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Colorado State University.  Previously, he was the Occupational Therapy Program Director - Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho and Assistant Professor in that department.  Prior to that, Dr. Eakman was an Instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science at the University of Southern California. His clinical experience has primarily been in rehabilitation with adult and geriatric populations. Among awards and honors he has received is the Elizabeth June Yerxa award, the Rogers S. Williams Fund Research Grant, Pi Theta Epsilon and a fellowship for the AOTF-AOTA Leadership Mentoring Fellowship Program. He has published in the AOTF journal, OTJR.
